A Visit to Chicago

 Day 1:

I began my excursion to Chicago from Ranchi, in the eastern state of Jharkhand in India, with a blend of fervor and apprehension. I made it to Chicago in the evening, after a pretty long flight. I was buffeted by the city's brisk winds as soon as I left the airport. Although the drop in temperature surprised me, I was eager to explore the city. I went to dinner, checked into my hotel, and called it a night.

Day 2:

The Willis Tower, Chicago's tallest building, was my first stop when I awoke the following morning. I was mesmerized by the stunning city panorama when I took the elevator to the 103rd floor. The Skydeck's glass floor was definitely an exciting experience. I headed toward Navy Pier after visiting the Willis Tower for a few hours. The Ferris wheel, small golf, and the Youngsters' Gallery made for an exciting day. A bonus was the display of fireworks at the end of the night.

Day 3:

I went to one of the country's largest art museums, the Art Institute of Chicago, the following day. The paintings, sculptures, and artifacts awed me. Getting a close-up look at the works of famous artists like Monet and Van Gogh was a one-of-a-kind experience. After that, I went to Millennium Park to see the well-known Cloud Gate, also known as "The Bean." It was fascinating to observe my reflection in the sculpture that resembled a mirror.

Day 4:

I had an exciting time when I went to the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry on my fourth day. I saw the U-505 Submarine show and found out about The Second Great War period submarine that was caught by the U.S. Naval force. Additionally, there were transportation, genetics, and space exploration exhibits in the museum. Later, I went for a walk along the Magnificent Mile, which is a shopping mecca. I went to the John Hancock Center at the end of the day, where I had a drink at the Signature Lounge on the 96th floor.

Day 5:

On my final day in Chicago, I went to the Adler Planetarium, which has a lot of space and astronomy exhibits. It was fascinating to learn about the current research and the history of space exploration. Afterward, I visited the Lincoln Park Zoo, which is a free zoo and home to various creatures, including lions, tigers, and bears. My trip came to an excellent end with it.

The beautiful city of Chicago has a lot to offer. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip, from the stunning architecture to the museums and attractions. I can't wait to return and look around more.
